Anna never runs out of big smiles. She is 8 months old now and we love to watch her explore the world around her. The latest things she is working on include
moving in a forward direction in an army crawl
trying to pull herself up on the side of the tub
crying when Mommy walks out of the room
feeding herself finger foods including small bits of cheese, banana, bread, peas, and cake, cookies, graham crackers (I have a tendency to let her try anything I don't think she'll choke on. Does that make me a bad mother?)
It is nice to be able to set her on the ground with toys and have her entertain herself for a while. She sits up by herself and plays.
Her favorite movie is Finding Nemo...she watches it almost every day...or should I say the first 20 minutes every day. Then she loses interest and we move on to the next activity. But I am grateful for those 20 minutes.
Oh we love our little Anna Bug.

I think that's awesome that you let her eat a variety of foods... I think that's important! Her smiles are so darling. Thanks for the update!
