We're a little behind with our blogging. Summer has taken us many places, and gratefully we were able to see almost all of our family members. Our first trip was to Washington in the middle of June.
Boulder Cave: we went to one of my favorite childhood field trip locations for a hike. It is a cave with a river running through it located in the Cascade Mountain Range about an hour from Yakima.Anna missed most of the hike because she fell asleep in her backpack.
We had a nice lunch at Whistlin' Jacks.
We brought Anna over to visit with the Swifts.
Anna's first time to Big Spray Lake and first time on Grandpa's boat.
Freshwater Pirate Cap'n ToothRipper. Arrrrr!!!!
My niece Mary turned 6 and we had cupcakes and ice cream at the lake. This is Anna hijacking Brittany's cone.
Anna LOVES ice cream! She kept following the ice cream carton wherever we moved it to. She'd reach her hand in and couldn't get enough.Anna and Grandpa at the lake.
We had a great time in Yakima.

Looks like a fun trip! I can't believe how big Anna is getting and that she'll be a year old soon.
P.S. Evan and I rock climb in the Yakima area (Tieton River Rock). Let me know next time you come to the area and we'll try to make a trip out that way to see you guys!
